Two types of memory

We cannot rely on memory to create the new in our lives.
And yet, there is a hidden truth behind this concept.

There are two types of memory: one “residing” in the left brain and the other in the right brain. Think of our brain as a tool, a means of expression for the Mind. Both parts of our brain, the left and right brain, are gateways to parts of mind that exist outside our physical bodies but “inside” our Wholistic bodies. The left brain serves as the gateway to the sub-conscious part of mind and the right brain serves as a gateway to the super-conscious part of mind.

(What I write does is not apt to scientific proof or laboratory exploration, for man’s tools are way too primitive to prove the essence of consciousness, to realize the creation of Mind and the cosmoses or grasp the magnificence of the human brain-Mind. These insights are turned into words, only for communication and sharing purposes. Understanding and Knowledge, come only from one’s Self).

How we create

When you are in need, you are focused on lack. You re-experience, you do not create.

You can manifest anything that you can conceive and know that you can. Perception conceives, awareness wills. Together, perfectly aligned, they create worlds. Alone, they are lame. Neither is more important than the other. Two sides, two halves, two aspects of the whole, which have been separated only in illusion.

We create in joining the heart-mind with the intellectual-mind. A courageous heart that will dare and devote and trust wisely, a free and expanded intellect that will serve, support and empower! The heart without the intellect closes up and does not will. The intellect without the heart becomes fearful and weak, it cannot commit. It is the wise heart that wills (and finally gives birth). It is the intellect that devotes (to initiate the creation), to support and protect the birth.

Social conditioning teaches us backwards. And so creations are stranded and uncontrollable, not nurtured or respected, for responsibility has not been accepted as their creators are not aligned.

Concepts sometimes seem to be opposing but actually, their truth is found in reference to time and perception. In linear time and focused perception, different truths – realities apply. In eternal (present) time and expanded perception, other truths – realities apply, as precious veils-boundaries are broken and disappear altogether, for boundaries and limitations are illusions from a vast perspective, yet true as more focused as perception gets.

Illusions

Every single moment, you are a successor and a failure too. Can you conceive that? Each word that has an opposite, you are both; you are either experiencing it within, without or both at the same time in some way (which is closer to the truth). You must be both because you are All That Is.

As long as we are captive of our social conditioning and limiting perception, we find it difficult to see the whole in the span of linear time.

When you are experiencing the “positive”, there is, at the core of its experience, the mark of the negative and vice versa. When you are consciously aware of that and are not afraid to see the opposite possibility, you ride on the waves of experience, untouched by either pole.

Self – importance and self - awareness

Everyone else can go about their business and do their own thing, offering to the collective that which they are and have to give. If a need does not arise that is expressed, no offering (manifestation) can exist. Manifestation comes out of desire and desires derive from needs, which are based on intentions.

No offering is better or worse, for everything, despite appearances, ultimately serves the same One purpose. When we cannot acknowledge that, it is our limited perception that excludes, creating illusion.

We need only concentrate on our individual offering and our own true intentions. Too much energy is wasted on judging others, on trying to remain informed because we doubt ourselves and on remaining externalized.

Silencing the inner chatter

The left brain’s chatter is endless if we allow it to run in automatic mode. It is not as intimidating once we start observing it and finally it does surrender. Yet, there are times when it just wants to take over and enforce its perception on us. Those are the times when it must be silenced, even for a short while because to blindly follow it, would separate us from who we really are.

Right here, right now, is where we are without our thoughts. To come back to the present to refocus on what is real, you can use a simple, straight-forward technique right where you are this moment:

The inner observer

There is a different level of mind which is activated once the inner chatter of the ego has been silenced or controlled. It is the inner observer, when we succeed in not identifying fully with the ego.

The inner observer is like a combination of the inner male - warrior with the inner wiser part of our self. It sweeps above the limited – focused perception, like an eagle, observing and gathering information from all sectors of the individual life as well as the collective reality. The true role of the masculine - knower.

It does not worry about the past nor anticipates the future. It simply gathers data already present and known, seeing it from a much higher and wider perspective, thus turning it into knowledge. Its mission – role is to protect and support, fully trusting, fully accepting, fully devoted to the feminine and All That Is.

Being present does not simply mean limiting ourselves to the surface of our being; the body and its temporary actions. That would be attempting to diminish consciousness to one moment in linear time, excluding all the rest, which is an illusion of linear time.

It is a joint, balanced state of the mind, where we are both levels of consciousness at the same time: we the role; the very specific action – feeling – thought that makes up the temporary moment in the span of linear time, and at the same time, we are the widened – higher perception that can access much more data of our known reality, which it puts into perspective for us to utilize wisely.

We do this by recognizing our simultaneously significant and also insignificant role in the whole picture. Humility as well as assurance balance, to guide our choices and our steps.

Parts and whole

Whatever excludes is an illusion.
Whatever is either this or that is incomplete.

By all means look at the past but come back to the present, to finish off.
Analyse and separate the pieces for understanding and to study the parts but end up synthesizing the whole. To put it easier…

Begin by synthesis – recognizing the whole is one.

Continue by studying the parts to explore variety.

Return to synthesis – recognizing the whole as one.

If where we have begun is the whole, we ultimately come back to the whole, closing the circle.

If we begin assuming that the whole is incomplete and lacking, ultimately we always come back to that, no matter how wide a circle we form.

Relating through Mind and Heart

It seems difficult to “return” to the world, to where we were before, once we know, once we’ve moved on and are somewhere else. But that is always our testing ground.

Knowledge without the heart is barren. It can’t give forth its fruits, it’s of no use. You need the inclusiveness of the heart to embrace all, to have compassion for all, to have empathy, understanding of the other’s true needs, to forgive all and to be in unity with diversity. Only then can knowledge combine with the heart and share the light on perception that will contribute and be truly useful for those who are willing to receive it.

We keep “returning to the world”, to shed all inner limitations and illusions, to open our heart fully till it blossoms and thus, without judgement, by simply observing and feeling the pain (without making it your own), you are free to give and receive.

Embracing the Light

When we feel a loss of energy (negative thoughts, ego identification, negative feelings), there is no logical way to replace it. The more we try to analyze needing to understand and reason with it, the more we feed that which we don’t want. We can neither persuade or enforce change, for that only gives power to that which is untrue in us. We need to bypass the logical brain completely.

First acknowledge the reality in you and admit it for what it is without judgment or categorization. Notice the feelings, the relations or change of movement, the thought, all that consists the weakened energy field.

Assist yourself back to acquiring inner balance, through the visualization capacity of your right brain.

Two points of focus; two brains

What our right brain can conceive, the left brain can make happen. The one gives to the other and both work together in harmony, to express that which We desire.

Careful planning and structure is needed as well as ideas and desires. The one needs the other, the one feeds the other to produce and express the whole. A committed cooperation between the two produces results that are beneficiary to everyone and enhance life in general.

When we look from the right brain’s point of view, manifesting seems a lot of work as it is bound to linear time and space. This mind’s perception can already conceive the finished painting, without ever lifting a brush or having to mix the colors, throw away a few attempts, wait and patiently devote time, energy and heart to the process of manifestation.

The brief discomfort of real change

In each moment, even though the circumstances seem the same as well as the people in our life seem already known to us, nothing is actually similar to the moment before. Each new moment and each new experience, each piece of information and each experience of our self inevitably changes us, as it does others, even though our educated mind wants to spot the familiar and likes to sit comfortably in its “knowing”.

Our surface, mechanical ego comes online (as long as we permit it to) assuming it knows, by examining and judging the past, what the present and future moment will look like. It gives us ready, formed, reactive responses; it hypothesizes and alters reality to suit its perception. This leads to repeated reactions, until we manage to detach from the ego and silence the inner chatter of ego mind.

Roles in the play of life and conscious living

People are acting out different roles in plays that They have chosen to participate in. Don’t take the roles too seriously for they are temporary roles in temporary plays. Drama is the result of forgetfulness and the alienation from Source.

When people ask for guidance, it may be that their higher self has decided that the play has been played enough or that the ego needs even more proof that the play is reality. Either way, our place is not to judge but only to offer statements – insights of truth, which we don’t “sit around” to watch whether they will grow or not.

The journey

When we’re going somewhere, we keep our mind fixed on the point of destination, managing to observe only some in-between points of interest, which mainly serve as indicators that we're moving towards the right direction. All else remains unseen keeping the focus on the end goal. Occasionally, we are surprised by the unexpected, which for a while seems like going into a void; we become completely absorbed, attached, losing our inner balance, either forgetting or doubting where we intended to go.

But we finally make it. We reach our destination point. We are there. The interesting part comes when we decide to return home. It is not a conscious decision, one that we have to think about, focus on; it is just the natural thing to do. There are no doubts, just an instinctive, natural need/urge/desire to return. So, in a sense, we are freer to observe our surroundings.

The mind; left and right brain

The right brain/mind lives in the present moment/eternal time. It can grasp eternity in a moment, it can travel to other worlds instantly, it can grasp the whole without analyzing the parts separately, equally momentarily. It can instantly tell real from false, truth from lie. It doesn’t bother with untruth, nor does it need to oppose it for it simply does not exist in its reality.

Untruth is like shadows on a wall. The more we fight and oppose them, the more fierce they seem.
Our right mind simply looks to find and connect with the light, which will extinguish all shadows in its presence. Shadows are simply indicators, showing it the way of its turning. The right mind is innocent and secure in its knowing of the whole.

Each moment and each encounter is new for there is no past. All time exists momentarily within the whole in each instant. Each moment is an exploration; a declaration of the known as well as a discovery of the unknown at the same time. Learning and being happens instantly and simultaneously. It does not strive for it has nothing to accomplish or prove. Being and becoming is co-existent and co-forming at the same time.

Being side-tracked?

Sometimes you feel you are being side-tracked when your programmed mind implies that you should be doing something else. The side-tracking can be so intense, that for a while you might forget where you originally began. You “forget” your initial purpose.

What if we are never “side-tracked” but are always guided to where we are supposed to go? Obviously if the side-tracking was actually irrelevant to you, you would not have gotten so wrapped up in it, so taken by it in the first place. You would not have devoted your attention to it. Obviously, there is another purpose to all this.
In order to access the purpose, the lesson and the revelation behind your “side-tracking”, you need to silence the inner chatter of the mind. It is based on illusion, distorted perception and separation. Judging, categorizing, comparing, are the mechanics of the inner ongoing dialogue.

If you simply allow and trust, the dots will be connected for you. You will be free to access that which you need and your higher self has guided you to find. It is essential for your journey, which your surface programmed mind cannot understand or reveal to you.

The mind’s walls

Based on and believing the surface, dense mind, we are accustomed to seeing walls and assume they naturally exist within as well as without us. Assuming they are real, we paint them, dress them or bring them down, building new ones in their place, because we have never imagined a life without them.  We thus give all our attention, placing our energy on our seeming reality. This focused perception keeps us in isolated structures.

The walls are made of our belief systems, which form structures that we are too afraid to get out of. How do we tear down the whole wall structure at once, without needing to discover and recover every single brick that we used to put it together in the first place?

It is possible.

The purpose

This is a space created for everyone who is ready to accept the responsibility of their own life and what they are creating. It is meant to offer guidance and practical steps, not just theory or inapplicable information that we usually like reading, but pass by, unchanged and untouched by it.

The articles contributed here are meant to offer an alternative view, one the surface mind will not provide. Nevertheless, to make the most of the information found here and to really change our lives, we need to commit to everyday practices that enhance our perception, change our point of view and offer us new possibilities that we cannot access while being caught in the limited perception we have.
