Relating through Mind and Heart

It seems difficult to “return” to the world, to where we were before, once we know, once we’ve moved on and are somewhere else. But that is always our testing ground.

Knowledge without the heart is barren. It can’t give forth its fruits, it’s of no use. You need the inclusiveness of the heart to embrace all, to have compassion for all, to have empathy, understanding of the other’s true needs, to forgive all and to be in unity with diversity. Only then can knowledge combine with the heart and share the light on perception that will contribute and be truly useful for those who are willing to receive it.

We keep “returning to the world”, to shed all inner limitations and illusions, to open our heart fully till it blossoms and thus, without judgement, by simply observing and feeling the pain (without making it your own), you are free to give and receive.
Nevertheless, we have to allow and trust our own pace in “returning”, in relating with the world. Over-exposure, too much negative energy all at once can be intimidating and over-whelming for the young initiate. It would drain our energy and leave us emptied, no different than what we were before. We would be left with nothing authentic to offer, nothing useful to contribute, but struggling, like all, to free ourselves once more from the limiting perception and the fear and guilt residing in our heart.

Choose who and what you interact with very carefully. Safe guard your inner space of peacefulness and harmony. Let your heart decide. Exposure should always be followed by enclosure. Stretch yourself and then allow to de-stretch, coming back to your Self for appreciation and guidance. Give in sincerity and with ease but then allow to be given, which means there is a time that you effortlessly give to your self.

Harmony is achieved through balance. We don’t acquire enlightenment or harmony with All That Is by only relating or only isolating ourselves. The one adds to the other and thus both are needed, in equal amounts and intensity. The more negative the relating, the more enclosure will be needed to regain balance. The more positive the relating, which means that it is more aligned with the love and the light inside us, the less the need for enclosure, since inter-relating will have been as inner-relating in one.
